Dr. Daniel Epstein
GP in Vermont

I graduated from Monash University and The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners as a specialist GP, where I was awarded the 2018 Australian Registrar GP of the Year. 

I then completed his PhD at the Monash University Faculty of Public Health in 2022. My research interests include decision-making, behaviour change, game design and global health. I am passionate about optimizing health, behaviour change and all aspects of health and wellbeing.

I write to talk about simple and easy things to have better health outcomes.

Helping people and having social impact is a career goal for me, and do a few different things to achieve this. I am an ambassador for The Giving What We Can Non-Profit and have pledged to donate 10% of my income to high-impact causes through this. This means some of my work income goes to things like Malaria bednets.. Being a patient of mine helps me on this career mission. I am also a representative of the High-Impact Athletes Network and work pro-bono for The Asylum Seeker and Refugee Hub.

I offer various services in my GP role juggling all hats and things that walk through the door, including telehealth, emergency care, immunisation, travel medicine, medical certificate provision, preventative health, women's health, pediatrics, sports medicine, diabetes, LGBTQI + care, mental health, and sexual health. Also provides flu vaccinations, iron infusions, spot skin checks, blood tests.
